Power and Accuracy: Our research showed that all players increased their distance with a 6 iron by approximately 1/2 club (6.45 yards). During the research phase, we only measured and changed the left hand grip. In 2007 we began fitting both the left and right hands for full swing and putter.
When we fit both right and left hands for a putter and place the player in their ideal stance width for putter, they see lines accurately (a fine line on a ball to a toothpick 2 feet away) and the putter path stays square to the line much longer.
Our research also showed that the putter path tracks the line of force (LOF) 100 percent of the time. It also showed that the club path will start on the LOF 100 percent of the time and the players shoulders will rotate 90 degrees to the LOF. In better players, the direction of LOF does not change from address to finish.
